I formed an S corporation three years ago. that was the end of my self-tax preparation. I have to have a CPA handle the complicated forms necessary now.

However, for years I used Turbo Tax. Indeed, I cheerfully paid for the software that made tax preparation a simple matter of answering questions.

Nowadays, if you have a simple tax return, Turbo Tax will handle it for you for free! That even includes an electronic filing.

Thanks to the generous tax credit we're getting this year, man6y of us are in for nice refunds. That group includes ME, i hope.

CPA's might charge several hundred dollars to prepare your taxes if many forms are involved. Turbo tax will let you have a pro handle it for a cool $99, or just $149.99 if it gets REALLY complicated.
