Turner Classic Movies Website
December 06, 2004
There was a saying, possibly uttered by Yogi Berra, that "nostalgia ain't what it used to be". That saying would be a good motto for the Family First site that we are going to visit today. Let's just say that those good old days are here again, courtesy of your local cable or satellite provider.
The site is called Turner Classic Movies. This is the internet presence of the cable channel, which serves to compliment the programming. Here you can find the listings for the coming month, as well as the current themes that they are featuring. For December, there is a 34-film tribute to the great James Stewart, which features his films on Mondays. There is a world premiere of a new documentary on director Martin Scorsese with a three film salute to his work. Buster Keaton is in the spotlight for Silent Sunday Nights, and the late Katharine Hepburn shines in a showing of the 1968 film "The Lion in Winter". In addtion to the films, there are trivia contests, wallpaper, ecards, and other cutting edge internet technology to make this a must stop of any film buff. But as the times change, so do the classic movies we watch do as well. Films from the 1960's and 1970's are now being considered just as classic as the hits from Hollywood's Golden Age. So there are so many films to watch, and so little time to watch them.
There is a special treat for New Years Eve. This will be a special TCM in Concert night, which features four concert films. There are two Elvis shows, "The Last Waltz" with the Band, and "ABBA-The Movie", featuring the superstar Swedish group in a rarely seen film. These films show that TCM has a wide ranging selection of movies to show, and features them with the respect they deserve.

I am looking for the sight that would tell me if & and any of the Anthony Dexter movies will be shown anymore this month. I requested them. The Brigand was shown but I didn't know when it was going to be on.
Where can I find a film guide of upcoming movies?
