Web-Beacon

I'm in the middle of a major bathroom remodel, I have mortar all over my sore hands, and I have to go to Lowe's for more material. Ergo, today's FamilyFirst piece will be short and sweet ;-).

The site is called the Web Beacon Family Directory. It's a family-safe directory listing carefully reviewed sites.

The sites (almost 43,000 at presstime) are categorized nicely. You can browse by category, or type in a search term.

While there are certainly other family-safe directories out there, there are always room for more. This one seems to be well-maintained and supervised, with humans reviewing submitted sites before they are accepted.

So add Web-Beacon to your list of family-safe searchable directories.
