Many countries around the world have opinions about what life is like in the United States. Some have positive ones, others have very negative ones. But the caretakers of today's FamSite are trying to change the negative ones to more positive ones by using a very unique and imaginative method - balloons.

Called the Balloon Hat Experience, the concept of the site reflects the philosophy of the creators. They are on a mission to travel around the world, show people of various countries and cultures how to make balloon hats, and then take pictures of them wearing their creations. Sounds kind of cool, doesn't it? Here you can follow their travels, and read about the impact they have had on the places and people they visit. There are pictures everywhere on the site, as well as audio from some of the musicians they have met (coming soon!). There is also a section called What is Laughing? Here you read comments from the wearers of the hats. The first one really says a lot about what the curators of this site are accomplishing. But you will have to read it yourself.
