Wikipedia: List of Common Misconceptions

Misconceptions abound.

Many of them are widely assumed to be true. They have been repeated over and over and have become part of human history.

Yet, they are still misconceptions.

Conversely, there are also what have long been considered misconceptions, or possibly urban legends, which are in fact TRUE.

Today's FamilyFirst pick is a list of misconceptions from Wikipedia.

Now here's the kicker: the list has been created by people like yourself.

It's is likely not 100% accurate.

That is where you can help the overall quality of Wikipedia.

Because YOU can edit the web's community reference work.

If you can cite a source, your edit is more likely to stick.

So check out, and possibly improve, today' FamilyFirst pick.
