One way to teach children to learn is to play games with them. Learning to read, learning to add (or subtract), names of places, all of these can be turned into educational tools. These tools can teach young and old alike (after all, who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks). Today's Family First Site is one that have one of the widest variety of word puzzles to be found on the Internet, and, good news, it is all free!
The name of the site is Word Search Fun.com. At this site you will find over 2200 puzzles on a wide variety of subjects. Among the topics are Movies, School, Science, Language, Computers, and many more. Puzzles are being added daily. There is even link to where you can make your own puzzles and print them out and/or submit them to the site. There are links to the Newest Puzzles, as well as the Top Rated and Popular Today puzzles.
Puzzles like this help to develop vocabulary and spelling. My son loves to work them, and it has made a difference. He recognizes words from the puzzles in other things that he reads, and hears on radio and television. So if you are looking for a fun way to improve someone's vocabulary skills, this site is a good one to show them.
