One of the most difficult tasks facing children growing up today is the use of drugs. The peer pressure that is exerted on them is tremendous, and all too often it leads them down paths that do nothing but devastate their lives, and their families. Today's FamSite is about an organization that is trying to help change that.
Called You Can Help Kids, this organization helps to promote the prevention of drug use. It does so by educating children, and giving them positive alternatives. This site is the online presence of the group, and tells how civic and social organizations, law enforcement and health agencies, as well as parents and schools are coming together to make this possible. Here you can find out the organization's mission, and how you can become involved in it.
This is a site with a positive message, one that hopefully will reach our young ones in time. A former First Lady once said it takes a village to raise a child. This site shows how villages can pull together and make it happen. Enjoy your visit here today.
